    1. Hey Nancy! Well, bless you! The other 98 tales were OKAY, I guess... ;>

  2. So clever.

Too early for me to be clever in my response, and so I raise my coffee to you, sir.

    1. Hey Pearl! Thankee kindly, it's a landmark piece (and I even like it). But COFFEE?! Ooooh, pour me one, won't you? Roth x

  3. Yup - remember this wee doozy too. It was this creativity that made me keep coming back and eventually having to admit it wasn't a fluke, but talent and left me no option but signing up to heap praise upon.......

    the badgers obviously!

    1. Hey Alistair! I'm open to the idea that this is all a fluke, all three years of it. But man, it's something to look back on with pride, right? Roth

    1. Cheers Alistair! Good entries and bad, I'm proud of the achievement of it all. Before I blogged, I don't think I finished a story. I just had ideas. This has been an apprenticeship. I've been discussing this with a friend on the way to and from London by train today, and I think it's time to take it to the next level. Thanks for your support and encouragement. Indigo

  5. It's definitely a shame about Cambridge. It's also a shame about the lobster. *sigh*

    1. That it escaped? I know. I adore seafood. Still, they were happy lads. Roth x

  6. I think the baby lobster, who was well-hidden, really wanted to toe-nibble, but her parents, being ever so practical, dragged her out to sea before the blood-letting could commence. You were spared, but just this once.

    1. Hey Britt! Ah, so there was a concealed wee nipper? I'd never thought of that. I just thought it was a belligerent Maine Lobster! Indigo x

  7. This is beautiful. Strange thing to say maybe, with the basic premise so chilling, but that's my first reaction, which I'll go with :)

I am enjoying your writing so much!

    1. Hey Jen! Thanks, that's always good news. This is the first piece I ever published, and it has a special place in my heart. As with most of my tales, it started out as something else, but the characters took over and I ended up someplace else; I'm not complaining =) This is the first time I used Elliot properly, too!
